She is currently a citizen of New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College and became an actor before. Chando was the lead character Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World Changes. She was on from 2005 until 2007 before returning for another few months starting in the middle of 2009. Alexandra's acting debut was in House Blend, the TV series House Blend, where she appeared as Jenna Harper. She played Maddie Coleman in the CBS soap As the World Turns for three years. Chando made her TV debut in True life (an American documentary) late in 2009. In 2009, she made her TV debut in another documentary, she appeared in Sherri, a TV show. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) as Annabelle. She also has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
