at the age of 14, Ava August performed before a SOLD packed crowd of 3000 people at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles in the midst of the start of a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August was recruited and scheduled to perform by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy Professional soccer and baseball teams in turn, however the COVID-19 virus caused cancellations of the performances. When she was 15, Ava August also became the youngest ever to perform and appear on American Idol season 19. Ava won the coveted gold trophy at the Audition Round. After that, she advanced to the Genre round, Duet Runde, Showstopper Round the Celebrity/Solo Round, Top 16 and top 10 rounds. America decided to put Ava to the TOP 10 in the country. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava performed an exhilarating duet with the internationally famous singer, Josh Groban. Also at 15, Ava August debuted her critically-acclaimed single Daybreak, a track that has been praised by critics. Daybreak with a video. It was also accompanied by her debut animated lyrical music video. In the week of 11/01/20 Daybreak was broadcast in the morning on KX 93.5 FM and The Tropical Surf Hour.
